Conversation Between Teachers about CAT

I don’t know if I should be worried or not. I had a conversation with another teacher on Facebook about CAT in our schools and his conversation really raised my blood pressure as well as my direction about my research field for Masters or even Honours.

I will add our conversation but unfortunately most of the conversation will be in Afrikaans. I would like all of you to please comment. I will be leaving his name blank for the sake of confidentiality.

My question is if teachers sit with this attitude what will the learners perception of CAT be when he or she have to choose subjects at the end of grade 9?

2nd Chance Matric Project

I've been selected to be one of the students to mentor and take part in the 2nd Chance Matric Project. The purpose of the Matric 2nd Chance Project in partnership between the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) and Education Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA) is to provide educational support to learners who had failed their Matric exams or those who wanted to improve their Matric Results, especially so that they could gain access to tertiary education institutions.

Welcome to my Blog

2016 - Not just a Leap Year but a year of change. I made the choice to study education, especially CAT (Computer Application Technologies). I was inspired by my Lecturers, while I was studying OMT  (Office Management and Technology) @ CPUT (Cape Peninsula University of Technology). They were very passionate about the subject and so inspired me to teach this subject myself.

I'm creating this blog to be use as a resource to anyone that share my passion and my dream. So please help me to make me a better blogger, person, lecturer, tutor, mentor, etc.
